Creating Your Account

  1. Visit our registration link
  2. You will be prompted to login through our OpenAthens service with your uark.edu email and password.

  3. After authentication, you will be directed to WSJ.com to create your account.

    You will need to compete the following fields:
    • Account type: Professor, Staff, or Student
    • First and Last Name
    • Email address
      • This does not have to be your uark.edu email address but can be any email address of your choosing
    • Password of your choosing
      • This should be different from your uark.edu password.
    • For Students only, graduation month and year.
       
  4. Upon first login, you will be asked about customizing your account, including setting up subscriptions to curated newsletters, You can always change these settings at any time by visiting you account preferences in the upper right of the WSJ.com home page. 

Your email address and password will become your login credentials when accessing content on WSJ.com or through the WSJ app.

For Students: Extending Commencement Date

When registering for a WSJ.com account, students are asked to input their anticipated graduation date. 
We know sometimes plans change.  To update your anticipated graduation date, contact WSJ.com customer service:

  • support@wsj.com
  • 1-800-JOURNAL (1-800-568-7625)
    Hours: M-F 9am - 7pm Central
    You'll need your email address used to create your account.  Please ask to be transferred to the Education Department.

For Faculty and Staff: Annual Re-authorization

Faculty and Staff will be prompted to re-authorize their accounts every 12 months buy revisiting our campus WSJ registration link (below).  You will receive an email reminder with instructions for re-authorizing your account.
