Q. Do the libraries have access to SPSS?

SPSS is available for students in Tech Spot labs (see link below) and the Remote Lab virtual desktop (see link below). Remote Lab allows students to launch the software from anywhere with an internet connection.

  1. Download and install the VMware Horizon Client (see link below). 
  2. Open your web browser and log into apps.uark.edu (see link below) with your UARK username and password.
  3. Click the Catalog tab. Scroll down and click VDI Lab Desktops.
  4. Click Launch. If you are prompted to update VMware Horizon Client, click Continue. 
  5. The virtual desktop session will begin. Log into the desktop with your UARK username and password.
  6. At the bottom left of the screen, click Search and enter SPSS.
  7. Select IBM SPSS to launch the application. 

Saving Files

Work saved to this desktop will be lost when you log out. Be sure to save your work to a flash drive, email it to yourself as an attachment or link your cloud storage with Kumo.
