Q. How do I find a movie I'm looking for on SWANK?

I'm looking for a recent feature film to show in my class.  Where might I find that?

Swank Digital Campus is one of several streaming video platforms the library offers. It is a good source for many feature films, but also offers some documentaries, foreign films, and television shows.

Because films licensed through Swank are only available for a limited time period, they are generally not found in OneSearch.

When you first go to the database, you will see what films the library has already licensed through Swank. To see everything that Swank offers, set up an account by going to the LogIn button on the top right of the screen.

Once you are logged in, you may search more broadly through the offerings of Swank and request films on demand.

Films licensed through the Swank Digital Campus platform are available for a limited time and must be renewed when the current license expires. Please make note of when a film you are using expires and contact User Services for a renewal within 45 days of expiration.

Renewal requests for SWANK films cannot be submitted more than 45 days before they expire.

Once you submit your request, User Services staff will be notified and will process the request. Please allow several days for the approval process. They will contact you by email once the request is processed and the film is available.

Links to the film may be placed on Course Reserves (please submit a Course Reserves form for your class) or may be shared via Blackboard or directly with students.

Explore other video offerings from the library by searching in OneSearch, or by browsing other streaming media collections.
