"Evidence-Based Acquisition."

EBA programs allow us to "try" ebooks before we purchase them and add them to the permanent collection. In an EBA model, books are purchased at the end of the license period, with the Libraries choosing the titles purchased, based on use and other factors.

The Libraries currently have EBA programs with Cambridge, Elsevier (ScienceDirect), JSTOR, Oxford University Press, Project Muse, SpringerNature, Taylor and Francis, and Wiley.

If you see a EBA book in the catalog that you would like to use for a class, please contact Course Reserves so that we can obtain an owned copy for the collection through the link below.
