While the Libraries own many e-books outright; you will also find thousands of books that are leased for a period of time. These can be;
- e-books in subscription packages such as EBSCO or ProQuest that periodically shuffle content in and out based on publication date or publisher agreements or
- e-books in "try before you buy" programs where we can offer temporary access to determine which titles best meet the needs of our students and faculty
Pro Tip: Because e-book packages can change over time, it is important to verify our ownership of a title before assigning it to your class. The best way to assure availability to your students is to complete our Reserves Request Form so that we can secure ownership of the title.
