The error occurs when you are trying to login to the Current Students, Faculty, and Staff side of the form for My Library Account or to connect to databases from off-campus. The error message might occur in these instances:

UARK Login form

  • You are trying to log into both sections of the form.
Log in to the Current Students, Faculty, and Staff side with your UARK username and password.
Log in to Other Users side if you are affiliated with the University but do not have a UARK username and password.
Do not fill out both sections of the form.

  • You made a typing error on your UARK username or password.
    Check your typing.
Check to make sure your browser is not "remembering" a previous password. Retype the password or clear your browser cache

  • You included your full email address, rather then just the username before the @uark.edu.
    Omit the @uark.edu.

  • There is a problem with your UARK account.
If you have not changed your UARK password recently, try changing it at Password Manager.

  • You do not have a current UARK account.
If you don't have a UARK account, use your University of Arkansas ID Number and last name. (Note that off-campus access for library databases is generally available only to current students, faculty, and staff.)
